From humble beginnings in a family members garage, Hoosier Spring Company, Inc. is now in it's third generation specializing in the manufacture, heat treatment and inspection of precision springs for hundreds of demanding customers. Our founder, Jim Suth gained his Spring Manufacturing Experience working for the Bendix Corporation in South Bend, Indiana. He worked in their development department where he hand wound small quantities of springs for a variety of new product initiatives. After serving the Marines in World War II, Jim decided to take a chance and start Hoosier Spring Company. Jim Suth and his six original employees deserve special recognition for their hard work and dedication, especially during difficult times. Those six employees are Harold Pipke(Deburr and Finish), John Bartoszek (Inspection), Dick Paczkowski (Accounting), Ernie Kish (Grinding), Joe Karason (Coiling, Compression), Frank Suth (Coiling, Extension, Torsion, Compression, Wire Forms). We will be forever indebted to these "original six." Today, having more than 50 years of experience and a steady list of dedicated employees, you can be assured the highest quality springs for any application. |
